Life always does not move according to your plan. There are some unavoidable circumstances in life which derails you from your normal life. This type of incidents also happens sometimes with the students and because of this many students fail to appear in exam. Attendance in School and Colleges are now a days a very big issue. If any student fails to manage 65% attendance then they are declare as discollegiate  i.e. they will not appear for exam. Though there are strict restrictions but the higher authority have some discretionary power which may allow some students to appear in exam in spite of having shortage in class attendance. Respected Sir,

                         I, Raghupati Bhattacharya, currently pursuing my B.E. in mechanical engineering from your University. Recently I was declared as discollegiate for shortage of attendance in the class.

Sir, my grand mother is suffering from blindness and because of this some one need to stay all the time to look after her. I am greatly sorrow for missing all the valuable classes of this semester.

So, my humble request to you to allow me to appear for 1^st Semester exam. I also assure you that this type of low attendance will not happen in future.
