Life is not a straight way sometimes we have to take the long to get success. Students who study B.Tech are expected that they will work for private organization where only DGPA is the factor. Not all B.Tech students consider private sector job some students consider public sector job. In public sector job percentage of marks is the key factor. So it is obvious for them to convert DGPA in to percentage of marks. It is very easy to calculate. Follow this simple WBUT rule to convert DGPA into percentage of marks

DGPA to % of marks converting formula

(DGPA-0.75) * 10 = percentage of marks

Example: Suppose your DGPA is 7.75 then your percentage of marks is (7.75-0.75) * 10 = 70%
