This year twentieth Commonwealth game took place in Glasgow,
Scotland. Like the previous Commonwealth game which took place in the year 2010
in New Delhi, India. This year Indian participants have also shown their
talents. The game continued for 12 days from 23rd July to 3rd
August 2014. Events played in Glasgow Commonwealth game are Boxing, Badminton,
Cycling, Diving, Gymnastic, Hocky, Judo, Lawn Bowls, Net Ball, Power Lifting,
Rugby, Shooting, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Wrestling, and Athletics.
Indian participants managed to earn total 64 medals and got 5th rank
in medal standing. Indian athletics managed 15 gold medals, 30 silver medals,
19 bronze medals. This year specially the young athletics have shown great
talent in their respective events. List of those glorious medal holders are
